Trip has officially begun. Left from Washington National airport Monday afternoon, for a connecting flight out of JFK New York to Buenos Aires, arriving Tuesday morning
We got Business Class seats for the overnight flight. Well worth it with the seats that fully flatten for sleeping during the 10+ hour flight.

Weather lovely in BA, sunny and mid 70’s. Didn’t get to our cabin until 2 PM, after going thru Argentine customs twice (arriving at airport, “leaving” to board ship). They took over 2 hours, with a 1 hour bus ride from airport to ship, Apparently, BA cruise terminal / port suffered storm damage a month ago, so the cruise ships are using docks in the commercial dockyard area. So they shuttle us between the terminal and the ship and we’re in the middle of stacks of containers and cranes. Not too picturesque. But we’ll go into town tomorrow to get scenic.

Cabin is very nice. One of their “suites” which gives you a lot more space, something we wanted for for such a long voyage.
Nothing spectacular food wise yet, I’ll keep you posted when it happens. Ending the day with a drink on the top deck watching the sunset behind the Buenos Aires skyline.
